Day 1

  • Visit to the Cathedral: The Catedral Basílica is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of Mary. The original cathedral was located in what is now the atrium. The Church that we see today, was started in 1575 according to the ‘working drawing’ of Juan de Cigorondo and Francisco Becerra, and it boasts a clearly Renaissance style with Baroque ornamentation.
  • Concert in the Cathedral of the Children Singers of Puebla: The Children Singers of It Populates it was founded in 1945 by the Father Alfonso Treviño Bustinza and his first name was that of Infantile Chorus Guadalupano. This choir is today the emblematic group of his city and differs for his vocal quality in the whole Mexico. From 1969 to the date it has realized tours along Europa's different countries and in the principal cities of The United States and of the Mexican Republic.

So if you do not dare to get on one of its 54 gondolas to admire the breathtaking view, anyway you will have a nice time at his feet.

Day 2

  • Cholula: With the Popocatépetl Volcano in the background, Cholula is one of those love at first sight destinations. The array of churches never ends and the great pyramid of its archaeological zone calls for a visit.
  • Archaeological Site: It is one of the most important archaeological zones of the country, the principal pyramid has the biggest basement of the world, with 400 meters for side, overcoming that of the Sun in Teotihuacán and that of Keops, in Egypt. Inside the wealths of this site they find 2 pre-Hispanic murals, the mural of the drinkers and the mural of the chapulines.
  • Church of the Remedies: The Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Remedies, it was constructed by the Spanish in 1594. His dome is covered of Talavera and in the interior it is possible to observe a neoclassic altar and to the virgin, whose devotion spread for the belief of which they one appeared to the Spanish in the sad night.
  • Church of Santa Maria Tonantzintla: Temple of the 16th century that frames the baroque popular excellent art. His name has origin in the language náhuatl, and wants to say " place of our madrecita ". In the pre-Hispanic culture Tonantzin it is one of the names of the goddess of the maize and is associated with the protection of the men.
